As we all know that star cricketer of India named Virat Kohli wasn’t doing well on the ground, so recently while talking to Asian News International (ANI) the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly released a statement that Virat Kohli has to find his way.
The 33 years old is already going through a lean patch and his recent groin injury has made the situation worse for him.
The popular batsman hasn’t scored a single century form past three years and also disappointed everyone from his scored in Tests and T20I series against England.
In the Edgbaston Test match he only scored 11 and 20 runs whereas in the two innings of Twenty20Is he made only 12 runs. Many cricketers stated that despite all these failures, he’s still playing on the ground just because of his name, which is not fair.
And that’s why the President stated that now its high time and he has to get back to his scoring ways or else his name will not be seen in the upcoming matches squad!

Maharaja of Indian cricket also added that the numbers he has got in the international matches were not at all acceptable.
Yes, he is going through a lean patch, he has been a great player himself and he also knows his worth, his standard. But this kind of playing techniques isn’t good as it will put the reputation of Indian team at stake.
He has to find his way to score runs and become successful again. His poor scores has led to so much criticism from legendary player like Kapil Dev and Venkatesh Prasad. Both of them questioned his presence in the T20 squad against England.
Moreover, Dada added that many players had gone through this phase and this is very common. These kinds of things happen in sport, it has happened to great Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and to himself also.
But how soon we deal with it, is depend on the capability of cricketer himself. As per him, every sportsman just need to listen, be aware of what’s happening around and play his game attentively.
As the T20 ICC World Cup 2022 is on the way, so Virat Kohli has to practice as hard as possible and will have to perform in his old style.
He has to get back to his scoring ways or else he will not be able to play in further matches of World Cup which will begin from 16th October in Australia.
