Let’s Read Out More About The Upcoming Matches!

Both ODI and T20I series will be captained by skipper Rohit Sharma and coached by Rahul Dravid. Skipper Rohit Sharam who tested positive for COVI-19 and was unable to play is now back with more energy to direct his team.

The first T20I match between India and England will be on 7th July at Southampton. The second on 9th July at Birmingham and the last one will be played on 10th July 2022 at Nottingham.

Just after a gap of one day, the very first ODI will be scheduled on 12th July in London. Second on 14th July in London and 3rd on 17th July in Manchester.

Now, if you have noticed, the squad for the 1st T20I match which is against England is the same as that played against Ireland, and the only thing which changed is that this time Rohit Sharma will be added as a captain.

For the selection of ODI players, India has used the horses-for-courses technique. They have left out some players who played fabulously in T20 and selected only those who are One Day International’s specialists. However, the left-out players may feel bad and surprised about not being elected for the ODI series!
