Mohammad Asif’s Views!

As per him, scoring 146 runs in 111 balls was just possible because of English players who didn’t bowl him in his weak areas.

He added, that Pant has some technical faults, his left hand doesn’t work properly and he still managed to score a century, which is practically impossible unless he was bowled smoothly.

Choosing a left-arm spinner named Jack Leach to bowl Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant wasn’t a good idea at all. Because of this wrong decision, Pant was able to score a century and England lost the match. In short, England players made a lot of mistakes in that match, he himself paved his way through his century in just 89 balls.

Does Mohammad Asif Underestimate Him?

The Pakistani player wasn’t questioning his skills and he’s not against him, instead, he just wants to say that when the opposition team’s skipper took wrong decisions, then another team’s player gets an edge to score big.

Initially, the match was going in favor of England as team India was in a scary position of 98/5. But later on, duo Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja came at the fifth number and lit the ground. They together made 222 runs for the 6th wicket and turns the table towards team India. His counter-attack knock included 19 fours and 4 sixes and from 222 runs, Ravindra Jadeja scored unbeaten 83 runs.

Asif’s Views On Virat Kohli’s Performance!

It’s not like, Asif didn’t like Virat Kohli even though he love watching him, but he wants to say that the right-handed batsman needs to work harder.
