Cricket Australia Expects Packed Stadiums For t20 World Cup!!

Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic last year, Australians had to postpone the T20 tournament in 2020 and team India hosted the event in the United Arab Emirates. But this time, Aussies have already grabbed the opportunity and expect packed stadiums for the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup!

The Chief Executive Officer of Cricket Australia named Nick Hockley passed a statement that reads that ticket demand for T20 World Cup in Australia will definitely reach its peak and the stadiums will be packed.

The eighth edition of the T20 tournament will begin on 16th October and go on till 13th November this year in Melbourne Cricket Ground. In the event, sixteen multi-talented teams will fight with each other for the shiny trophy and at last one team will take the crown.

This time Australia has already planned everything and there’s a very low chance of changing the venue.

The Chief Executive Hockley Interview Insights

Chief Executive Hockley stated in an interview, that the event was pending to be played in 2020, and now we are delighted that the borders have opened up. This time fans will be able to travel and have more fun, ticket sales are also increasing devastatingly and hence we are expecting the full stadiums.

In addition to the news of the blockbusting first Test match between Australia and Sri Lanka played in the City of Sri Lanka named Galle, Hockley shared his excitement about the fantastic experience, players will have in the upcoming tournament.

As per Hockley, both countries have good relations as Australia helped them by sending a crew to disaster-hit Sri Lanka, which is facing a financial disaster for the very first time.
