About the Compton Cricket Club
 The "Homies and the POPz" Compton Cricket Club, (CCC) is club based
in Los Angeles USA. The CCC Homies & the POPz is the only all American born cricket team
in the world today.
The Homies & POPz dubbed "America's Team" and
global "US Ambassadors" of Good Will and Peace of the sporting world of Cricket, plays amateur
competition in a local Los Angeles leagues, called Los Angeles Social
Cricket Alliance, as well as exhibition matches wherever they can.
Actually, the H&Pz has won the leagues Cup Championship twice.
Pretty good for an American team competing against folks who have the
sport all their lives such as ex-patriots from India, England, West
Indies, Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, et al.

Ambassadors of Good Will, Civility and Peace, The Mission of the Homies
& POPz is to:
- Curb the negative effects of gang activities amongst the youth of
Compton, the USA and throughout the world and...
- Address homelessness
and poverty through the principles and
ethics of Cricket
- Encourage and promote civility, good and productive citizenship
- Bring Cricket to America, through its inner cities,
harnessing the raw talent waiting to be future US
cricketers.
The Organization and movement continues in its forward progress to work
for the betterment of all humanity as global Ambassadors of Goodwill,
Peace and Civility.
The CCC and it's premier sporting enterprise, the Homies & the POPz also
has recently increased and found a new voice and has it's International
Recognition and Attention.
Under the direction of Ted Hayes and Katy Haber, the American Cricket
is on track to achieve its objectives at home and abroad. |
